Fulham Football Club has today announced that, after agreeing personal terms, Luis Boa Morte has signed a 4-year deal with the Club.

The 23-year-old forward, whose previous clubs include Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon, had been on loan to Fulham from Southampton, for the majority of the Club’s Championship winning season.

The popular striker won the supporters’ hearts with a series of thrilling performances, which netted him 21 goals from 27 starts last season.

His efforts for the club did not go unnoticed at International level as he also broke into the Portuguese first team.

Boa Morte said:

“I am really happy to have signed with Fulham for the next four years and that we will be playing in the Premiership. It is a great opportunity for me and for the team and I am looking forward to it very much.”

Managing Director Michael Fiddy further added:

“We are delighted to have agreed a deal with Luis for the next 4 years. As a formidable part of the strike-force, the player showed great skill and commitment on the pitch last season and we look forward to his continued dedication in the Premiership.”
