  • Nicklas Bendtner is fed up of being a bit-part player at Arsenal and wants to quit the club. German giants Bayern Munich are the striker's preferred choice.

  • Dave Jones will tell Cardiff City's owners at a meeting today that he needs significant reinforcements to his squad. If he doesn't get the answers he wants, he could leave the Championship side.

  • Striker Carlos Tevez intends to fly home to Buenos Aires today, instead of taking part in Manchester City's open-top bus parade from Manchester Town Hall to Eastlands to show off the FA Cup, which his side won by beating Stoke earlier this month. The 83-year-old Wigan died from a heart attack in the final moments of the side's 3-2 win over West Ham last week. In the aftermath of the win over Stoke, which secured Wigan's Premier League survival, Martinez said: "We would like to dedicate this moment to George and his family."
