There is more bad news for Fernando Amorebieta.
The injury-hit player is the subject of prolonged analysis on his damaged knee that may result in surgery and a 'long time' out according to boss Kit Symons.
The Venezuelan international went down during the 2-0 defeat to Middlesbrough on October 4, returned a month later against Blackpool, and lasted only 44 minutes.
"We've had a setback with Fernando, and we're getting someone else to look at him now," said the manager.
"We're a bit concerned. We've got a couple of options. One's conservative involving rehab, and the other is more complicated, and could involve surgery and he could be a long time out."
