Fabrice Fernandes wants to stay at Fulham |
|
Fulham's multi-talented French midfielder Fabrice Fernandes wants to sign for
the West London outfit on a permanent basis so that he can play for them in
the Premiership.
Fernandes has been outstanding this season but at present he is only on loan
from French Club Rennes and does not know where he will be next year.
Rennes are reportedly asking for a £4million fee if Fulham do want to keep him,
but so far no-one has told the youngster what will happen.
"I want to stay at Fulham next year," he said. "But at this moment I don't have
the keys. It is between Fulham and Rennes. But I want to stay at Fulham to play
in the Premiership. "With Jean and Christian it is good because they are French
so when we speak there is not a problem with the language. "I am really enjoying
it here. It's been a very good experience for me and I hope the clubs can agree
something."
Fernandes has scored just four goals for the Whites so far this season but his
ability to keep possession and trickery around the penalty area makes him a
rarity in the English game.
