Fulham' Edwin van der Sar has been selected by Netherland coach Louis van Gaal
for the friendly against Denmark on Saturday.
Edwin, who won his first cap in 1995 and by Euro 96 he was the Dutch No 1, will
be hoping for a better result than the 2-0 defeat of injury hit Netherland by
Portugal back in October.
Van Gaal has called up Aston Villa midfielder George Boateng for the first time
to face Denmark on Saturday, while AZ goalkeeper Oscar Moens was preferred to
Liverpool's out-of-favour Sander Westerveld as reserve Keeper.
Westerveld's replacement Moens has played for his country once before, against
Ghana in the build-up to Euro 2000 nearly three years ago.
Van Gaal also selected Ronald de Boer of Rangers after a lengthy injury lay-off.
Philip Cocu and Marc Overmars were not selected as they will be on duty for
Barcelona.
