Fulham Dutch International Edwin van der Sar insists he will not quit Craven
Cottage in the summer and is targeting European football via the Intertoto
Cup for next season.
The £5milllion keeper had been rumoured to leave Fulham at the end
of the campaign in search of European football, but van der Sar believes
he can do it all with The Cottagers and is enjoying his spell in the Premiership.
He said: "I'm quite happy at Fulham. It's not the level of Juventus
but it's important that you enjoy football and enjoy life.
"I'm very happy and my family speak English already. There are some
good prospects for the future here.
"It's going to take time but I hope we can qualify for Europe through
the Intertoto."
Van der Sar added: "I'm used to playing in Europe - it's good for your
name and for your experience.
"And of course, it's good for the club as well. If we can get there,
it would be very important so we have to try and keep winning games."
