Fulham's transfer of highly-rated Dutch striker Collins John from Twente Enschede is being investigated by the Dutch FA.
The Cottagers moved to bring in the teenage hit-man just before the close of January's transfer window from Twente, with John signing a four-and-a-half-year deal with the West London outfit.

Despite the completion of the deal, the KNVB have now opened a case into the move after it was alleged that the player's agent, Romeo Zondervan, is not properly registered with Fifa.

Should evidence point to any wrongdoing in the move of the Liberian-born marksman to Loftus Road, a case will be presented to the relevant authorities by the Dutch FA investigators.

"If rules have been broken then it is a case for the prosecutor," said KNVB spokesman Frank Huizenga.
