Derby (1) 5-1 (0) Fulham

Fulham suffered a hammering at Derby County on Saturday as they fell to their fourth straight Championship defeat.

Skipper Scott Parker had equalised for the Whites 10 minutes into the second half and the visitors were on the front foot.

But two goals in as many minutes on the hour mark from Craig Bryson and Chris Martin put the hosts in control.

And the Whites then fell apart in the final moments as Martin added his second and Simon Dawkins scored a fifth to leave Fulham bottom of the Championship on goal difference.

The visitors fell behind after 24 minutes when they were slow to react to a throw-in and Cyrus Christie knocked the ball to Johnny Russell who crossed for Jamie Ward to volley home from close range.

Fulham had their first shot on target 10 minutes before the break when striker Ross McCormack tried an audacious effort from the halfway line that Derby keeper Lee Grant collected underneath his own bar.

The visitors started the second half much better and they were level 10 minutes after the interval.

McCormack hit a free kick into the Derby wall and when the ball came back to him he chipped it into the box and the knock down fell to Parker who made no mistake.

But then it all went very wrong for Felix Magath's side.

Moments after Martin had put the ball over the bar on the stretch, the Rams were back in front through Bryson whose side-footed volley went in despite Fulham keeper Jesse Joronen managing to get a hand to the ball.

And moments later it was 3-1 as Martin held off Cameron Burgess and smashed home.

In the final minutes, the hosts added gloss to the scoreline.

Martin added his second and then less than 60 seconds later Dawkins netted the fifth to well and truly make it a day to forget for the visitors.
