Hull City boss Steve Bruce has added to his goalkeeping options with the capture of David Stockdale from Fulham.
The former Darlington and York City man has joined the Tigers on an emergency loan deal which runs until 2 January.
The 27-year-old joined the Cottagers in 2008 but has been restricted to just 23 appearances for the west Londoners, spending much of the last four years on loan.
And having not made a single appearance this season, he has opted to move to the KC Stadium on a short-term deal where he will challenge fellow loanee Ben Amos for the No.1 shirt.
Stockdale is due to join his new team-mates for training on Thursday and could make his debut against Burnley on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has been recalled by Fulham from his loan spell at Bristol Rovers.
The Philippines number one returns to Craven Cottage having made 12 appearances in two months with the Pirates.
The keeper, 22, appeared in only one clean sheet for Mark McGhee's side, in his debut against Fleetwood, and leaves the club in 21st place in the League Two.
