Fulham are considering talking to Paul Lambert, Nigel Pearson and Uwe Rosler about the vacant head coach position, according to Sky sources.

Kit Symons was sacked at the weekend following their 5-2 defeat to Birmingham at Craven Cottage, which leaves them in 12th place in the Championship.

Alan Curbishley has been put in charge of training but the club is hoping to have the new permanent boss in place before their next game.

As yet, no preferred candidate has been established and there have not been any negotiations.

Chief football officer Mike Rigg is believed to be heading up the search for a successor to Symons, who had his contract terminated.

Lambert was sacked by Aston Villa in February this year and replaced by Tim Sherwood. Lambert has extensive experience of managing in the Championship with Norwich City, guiding them to promotion to the Premier League in 2011.

Rosler was sacked by Leeds United last month, and has had spells with Brentford and Wigan Athletic.

Pearson guided Leicester City into the Premier League and although they survived in the top flight last season he was sacked in June.
