Chris Coleman wants to finally put rumours that Luis Boa Morte may leave Fulham to bed.
The Cottagers boss is becoming increasingly frustrated with speculation that the Portugal international will quit the club in the summer.
Newcastle United failed to sign the attacker earlier this month before Boa Morte signed a new contract with Fulham at the end of last week.
But rumours of a summer exit for Boa Morte resurfaced this week when he hinted that he could move on at the end of the season.
Fulham boss Coleman has now moved to quash any notion of the 27-year-old being sold, with Boa Morte under contract until 2008.
Coleman admits he is frustrated at why Boa Morte keeps being linked with a move, particularly after he has just put pen-to-paper on an extension.
"I listened to the interview with Luis on tape and it was suggested to him that he could be moving," said Coleman.
"Luis is a nice kid, an honest lad who is very naive.
"Luis has just signed a contract for three-and-a-half years. The matter is closed.
"The crowd gave him a great reception on Sunday [against West Brom], yet still a report comes out about him seeing his future elsewhere.
"I've put the Boa Morte episode to bed. He's signed a new contract and it's finished. We agreed a new deal with him.
"I don't know what else we must do to show we have kept hold of Luis."
