Cardiff City 0 - 1 Fulham
Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic continued his record breaking form to score his 34th league goal of the season and earn Fulham a 1-0 win in the Welsh capital.
Mitrovic headed into the far corner of the net after Harry Wilson's pinpoint cross as Fulham stayed clear at the top of the Championship.
Cardiff had missed a golden chance to lead when James Collins was denied by Marek Rodak after going clear.
The defeat sees Cardiff fall to 20th, albeit 13 points above the drop zone.
In truth Fulham never needed to be at their blistering best in this one, with Mitrovic - as he has been so often this term - the difference-maker.
Mitrovic's goal maintained his incredible season, having come into this contest with 33 goals in the Championship, breaking Ivan Toney's record of 31 goals before the season even hits March.
The forward has now scored 12 goals in his last nine Championship matches and if he stays fit, could set a mark this season that will be tough to beat.
AFC Bournemouth 2 - 1 Stoke City
Late goals from Dominic Solanke and Jamal Lowe helped promotion-chasing Bournemouth fight back to beat 10-man Stoke at Vitality Stadium.
Tommy Smith powered a fine finish in off the post to put Stoke ahead, but they were reduced to 10 men after 32 minutes when left-back Morgan Fox was shown a straight red card for catching Philip Billing with a high challenge.
Birmingham City 0 - 2 Huddersfield Town
Promotion-chasing Huddersfield Town stretched their unbeaten Championship run to 15 games with victory at Birmingham City.
Levi Colwill's knock down from Sorba Thomas' cross deflected in off Blues midfielder Gary Gardner to put Huddersfield in front.
Lewis O'Brien doubled Town's lead just before the break when more slack defending allowed him space in the box and he slotted past Neil Etheridge.
Carlos Corberan's side have not lost since they were defeated by Middlesbrough on 27 November, a run of 17 matches in all competitions, and have now moved up to third in the table.

Blackburn Rovers 1 - 0 Queens Park Rangers
Reda Khadra scored Blackburn Rovers' first league goal in more than nine hours to clinch a crucial win over play-off rivals Queens Park Rangers.
Khadra curled in a 77th-minute free-kick from a tight angle to give dominant Rovers a deserved home win.
Khadra had twice missed chances to put Rovers ahead in a buzzing first half.
Albert Adomah and Ilias Chair had QPR's best chances but they were indebted to substitute goalkeeper David Marshall for keeping them in it for so long.
The win was Rovers' first in six games and lifts Tony Mowbray's side above the R's into fourth in the Championship, four points off the automatic promotion places.
QPR's own tilt at a top-two finish took another hit, with Mark Warburton's team five points off second with only one win in their past six matches.
Luton Town 1 - 0 Derby County
Luton Town moved into the Championship play-off places with a narrow win over relegation-threatened Derby at Kenilworth Road.
The Rams edged a cagey first half and Colin Kazim-Richards fired a good early chance over.
They went close soon after the break when Town goalkeeper Jed Steer turned Max Bird's goalbound effort against the bar.
But Luton went ahead with only their second attempt on target when Cameron Jerome nodded a header down to Danny Hylton who slotted into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Nathan Jones' side were not at their most convincing, but a fifth league win in six lifted them into sixth place, while Derby dropped to 23rd - and stayed eight points from safety - after Barnsley beat Middlesbrough.

Millwall 1 - 0 Sheffield United
Jake Cooper's second-half goal gave Millwall victory over Sheffield United - the Lions' fourth consecutive win.
Centre-back Cooper rose to head home Jed Wallace's free-kick just after the hour mark at The Den.
It consigned United to a first defeat in 10 matches and dealt a blow to their play-off hopes.
The Blades had not conceded a goal in their previous five matches and were fairly comfortable in the first half, but Millwall were much improved after the interval.
Millwall then had to withstand a spell of pressure as the visitors searched for an equaliser, but Gary Rowett's side defended well.
United's loss saw them drop a place to seventh, but they remain in the thick of the Championship promotion race.
Millwall's recent run means they are also contenders for a play-off place. They are 11th in the table, just five points behind sixth-placed Luton.
Barnsley 3 - 2 Middlesbrough
Amine Bassi scored twice as Barnsley climbed off the bottom of the Championship for the first time since the start of the year with a home win over play-off hopefuls Middlesbrough.
But despite seven successive home victories, Boro have now lost three of their last four games away from Teesside.
Having failed to win any of head coach Poya Asbaghi's first 13 matches in charge, Barnsley have now done so in three of their past four games to give themselves renewed hope of avoiding the drop.
Peterborough United 0 - 3 Hull City
Grant McCann's second spell in charge of Peterborough United began with defeat by his former club Hull City as Posh sank to the foot of the Championship.
McCann, dismissed by new Tigers owner Acun Ilicali last month, saw his new side fall to a fifth loss in six matches as relegation looks increasingly likely.
Keane Lewis-Potter's stunning double sealed the points for Hull after Tyler Smith had opened the scoring with his first league goal.
Victory lifted Hull to 18th in the table, 14 points clear of the bottom three, with Peterborough remaining eight points from safety.
Blackpool 4 - 1 Reading
Blackpool came from behind to overcome struggling Reading with an impressive second-half display at Bloomfield Road.
The Royals seized an early advantage when Lucas Joao netted for the fourth time in three games.
But Marvin Ekpiteta soon headed Blackpool level and Gary Madine put them in front on the hour mark.
Late goals from substitute Shayne Lavery and Josh Bowler wrapped up the Tangerines' first win in five games.
Blackpool climb a place to 14th in the table, while Reading remain 21st, six points above third-bottom Barnsley.
Coventry City 1 - 1 Preston North End
Coventry City rescued a point against bogey side Preston as substitute Fabio Tavares equalised with the last kick of the game in a dramatic finale involving two red cards at the CBS Arena.
After having defender Liam Lindsay sent off on 84 minutes for a second yellow-card offence, 10-man North End then went ahead with just a minute of normal time left.
Coventry defender Fankaty Dabo became the second player to see red when he was adjudged to have brought down Emil Riis Jakobsen - and Daniel Johnson converted the resulting penalty.
But, just four minutes after coming on, Tavares then curled in a 98th-minute equaliser to rescue a point to deny aggrieved Preston boss Ryan Lowe and keep Mark Robins' Coventry, who drop to 10th, within three points of the play-off pack.
For all the Sky Blues' relief at rescuing a point, the promotion hopefuls are now winless in 17 league meetings with Preston - a run stretching back to September 2007.
Nottingham Forest 2 - 0 Bristol City
Nottingham Forest's excellent home form continued as they moved to within three points of the Championship play-off places with victory over Bristol City.
Brennan Johnson's first-half strike put Forest in front in a commanding display at a rocking City Ground.
On-loan James Garner doubled the lead 10 minutes after the break from Max Lowe's teasing cutback.
Bristol City carried little threat all game as they slipped to their sixth defeat in their past 10 matches.
Nigel Pearson's side could only muster one shot on target as their poor away form continued - now no win in 11 and 33 goals conceded.
For Forest, a seventh victory in their past nine at home has Steve Cooper's side nicely ensconced in the play-off picture with 13 games to go.
West Bromwich Albion v Swansea City
West Bromwich Albion's miserable run continued as Swansea City further hit their fading promotion hopes with a deserved 2-0 win at The Hawthorns.
Joel Piroe struck through a crowded penalty area with 11 minutes remaining to break the deadlock for the visitors.
Cyrus Christie then fired home with a powerful effort with six minutes left.
Callum Robinson twice hit the post for West Brom, who are still looking for a first win after five games since Steve Bruce took charge.
The Baggies were a fixture in the play-off berths earlier this term, but continue to slide off the promotion pace and are now 13th, eight points off the play-off spots, while Swansea rise to 16th.
