Fulham have confirmed midfielder Tom Cairney has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The 26-year-old's new deal will keep him at Craven Cottage until 2021 and the club say there is an option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Cairney joined Fulham in the summer of 2015 from Blackburn Rovers and scored 13 league goals last season as the club finished sixth in the Sky Bet Championship.
He had been linked with a move to Newcastle after an impressive season that saw him included in the PFA Championship team of the year.
His club performances saw Scotland boss Gordon Strachan call Cairney up to the national team and he made his senior international debut in the 1-1 friendly draw with Canada in March.
