Bobby Zamora has been warned he's in for a rough ride when he faces his former club tomorrow.

The QPR striker lines up against Fulham for the first time since quitting Craven Cottage for their west London rivals on transfer deadline day.

Zamora was a massive hit in SW6, scoring 37 goals in 135 games for the Whites, but could be in for a hot reception from Fulham fans for moving down the road to Rangers.

And ex-team-mate Stephen Kelly has told his pal it won't just be the supporters giving him a tough time.

He will be a challenge, but Bobby won't like playing against the likes of Brede Hangeland either," Kelly said. "He knows the type of player Brede is and that it won't be easy.

"We played with him [Zamora] for a long time and know what he's capable of - he'll be getting people to play to his feet and chest - but we'll work out our tactics and hopefully nullify him.

"And with the quality we have, I think we're more than capable of going there and getting a result. It would certainly be nice to go there and get something."

Andy Johnson hammered a hat-trick while Zamora and Clint Dempsey were also on target when Martin Jol's men thrashed QPR 6-0 back in October.

And Kelly reckons the result will give the Whites the psychological edge at Loftus Road.

He added: "If it's anything like the last one, that will be amazing, but I can't imagine two of those happening in a season and we know it's going to a tough place to go.

"I don't know if the 6-0 was a freak. It was just one of those days where they were caught off guard and everything just went for us. Every shot was on goal and Andy Johnson tormented their back four. It should give us confidence for this return game."
