Luis Boa Morte

Liverpool have emerged as the favourites to sign Luis Boa Morte despite reports linking the Fulham winger with a move to Newcastle.

Rafael Benitez is expected to table an offer for Boa Morte following their European Cup Final in Istanbul tonight.

Fulham do not want to lose Portugal's Boa Morte but it is unlikely they would resist an offer in the region of £5million for the 27-year-old.

Newcastle would be disappointed to miss out on Boa Morte for a second time having failed to land him in January.
