The Football Assocation has dismissed a claim of improper conduct against Fulham's Portuguese international striker Luis Boa Morte.

The Portugese forward was charged after an alleged offensive gesture at Everton fans during a league game at Loftus Road in January.

But an FA disciplinary panel found insufficient grounds to substantiate the claim and dismissed the case.

Boa Morte is still waiting on an FA verdict on his race-abuse allegation against Everton's Duncan Ferguson.

The 26-year-old accused Ferguson of racially abusing him during the 1-1 FA Cup draw at Goodison Park on 25 January.

FA officials have been probing the incident for six weeks but are not believed to be close to announcing a decision.

It is understood the case against Ferguson may collapse due to a lack of evidence supporting Boa Morte's claim.
