Arsene Wenger has said that there is no question of Dennis Bergkamp being
sold, after speculation over a £2million move to Fulham.
Wenger said he had been aware of Fulham's interest but wanted the Dutchman
to stay at Highbury.
"Fulham have showen an interest " Wenger admitted. "But I
told Dennis and he didn't want to go just as much as I didn't want to let
him go. He knows he's important."
However, the coach added that one of Arsenal's five strikers may leave the
club: "We have five strikers here and maybe we'll lose one over the
next few months." |
