Andy Woolmer
Referee Andy Woolmer, age 51 years, used to keep fit by walking his route around Northampton as a postman. He has been a National List referee since 2004 which was some twenty years after he first started refereeing at aged just sixteen.

He graduated through the United Counties League, Southern League and Conference route to the Football League National panel. Prior to achieving this he was also an Assistant for a total of ten seasons, which included four on the Select Group.

In the summer of 2016 he was appointed to the Select Group 2 of fulltime Championshp referees.

The last time Ref Woolmer bossed a Fulham game was on the 1st October 2019 when he refed Fulham's 4-1 away victory at Reading. He booked two Reading players. one of them, John Swift he booked twice, so he was off in the 20th minute.

Prior to that game Mr Woolmer bossed us on the 8th January 2017 when we beat Cardiff 2-1 away in the third round of the FA Cup. Mr Woolmer kept his cards in his pocket despite whistling up for 15 Fulham fouls. Ryan Sessegnon at 15 years old became one of the youngest goalscorers in FA Cup history with the winning goal.

Two or three weeks prior to that game he bossed Fulham on the 17th December 2016 in the 2-2 home draw with Derby County of the four players he yellow carded three were from Fulham, Fredericks (32,f), Johansen (40,f), Madl (90+2,f) .

Derby last had the pleasure of being bossed by Ref Woolmer in January 2019 when they lost 2-1 at home to Reading in the Championship, He booked three players.

Last season he refed 30 games and dished out 81 yellows and 5 reds, an under average rate of just about 2.7 yellows per game so not too bad.

His busiest game in recent times was the 1-1 draw between Ipswich and Preston in November 2018 when he booked four Ipswich players and three Preston players, rounding off the evening by giving a second yellow to one of the Preston players in the 71st minute
