Referee Andrew Madley, 36, took up the whistle in 2002 at the age of 18 after an injury playing at Huddersfield Town academy. He started out in his local divisions and began to progress through the supply lines from 2004 before becoming a Premier League linesman in 2009.

He has been a referee, on the Football League National Referee List, since the opening day of the 2011-12 season. In summer 2016 Ref Madley became part of the Select Group 2 for full time Football League referees. In June 2019, Madley was promoted to the Select Group 1 Referees list which will see him Referee primarily in the Premier League.

The last time Mr Madley refed Fulham was in February 2020 when we drew 1-1 away at Millwall. Millwall's goal was clearly offside but Mr Madley granted it anyway. He booked three players, two from Fulham, Tom Cairney and Harry Arter both for fouls

April 2017 when we won 3-1 away at Norwich. He booked four Norwich players, three Fulham players and in addition sent off Chris Martin in the 45th minute.

Earlier in the season, 4th February 2017, Mr Madley also refed us in in our 1-0 away defeat at Birmingham. He yellow carded five players, including Kevin McDonald and Sone Aluko both for fouls, and sent off Ryan Fredericks in the 68th minute for a bad foul.

Prior to the Birmingham game Mr Madley refed Fulham in October 2016 in another trip to the Midlands this time it was to Aston Villa and we also lost 1-0. He booked four Fulham players Piazon(45,f), McDonald (72,f), Martin (83,f), Madl (90,f) and no Aston Villa players dispite Villa players fouling Fulham players 15 times while Fulham players fouled Villa players 11 times.

Everton were last reffed by Mr Madley in June 2020 when they won 1-0 away at Norwich, Moise Kean of Everton was the only player booked

Last season he refed 22 games and dished out 73 yellows and 6 reds, an average rate of 3.3 yellows per game.

One of his busiest game in recent times was Cardiff vrs Birmingham in November 2019 when he booked four players and sent off one player from each team. He also dished out seven yellows in the Newcastlr vrs Burnley game, four for Newcastle and three for Burnley.
