Andrew Johnson is poised to return after a 12-match absence for Fulham's must-win Europa League game against Basle in Switzerland on Wednesday.

Johnson has been nursing a groin injury and has not played since being replaced at half-time during the 2-2 draw at West Ham in early October.

"I'm hoping Andy might be able to take some minor part in the game. It would be a tremendous boost if he could," manager Roy Hodgson said.

Danny Murphy, an unused substitute in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Burnley, should start along with Dickson Etuhu following his recovery from a knee injury.
