Fulham forward Sone Aluko has signed a four-year contract with Reading, in a deal believed to be worth about £7.5m.
The 28-year-old Nigeria international, who can play up front or on the wing, has moved to Madejski Stadium after just over a year at Craven Cottage.
He started out with Birmingham City and went on to play for Aberdeen, Rangers and Hull before joining the Londoners.
"With his pace and ability on the ball, he can make life difficult for every opponent we face," said boss Jaap Stam.
He added: "He poses a threat going forward, he keeps the ball well, he can play as a striker or out on the wing and I am sure he will improve us as a squad."
Fulham FC statement
The Club can confirm that Sone Aluko has joined Reading for an undisclosed fee.
Aluko arrived at Craven Cottage on a free transfer last summer following the expiry of his Hull City contract.
It proved to be an inspired piece of business as he went on to make 50 appearances as Fulham reached the Play-Off Semi-Finals, during which time he also scored nine goals.
His form in October saw him named Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month.
The 28-year-old also played four times for the Whites at the start of the current campaign.
Everyone at Fulham would like to thank Sone for his efforts during his time in SW6, and wish him the best of luck in his future career.
