Fulham youngster Alex Kacaniklic has paid tribute to Watford after signing a new deal with the west London club.
The 20-year-old impressed during his loan spell at the Hornets before returning to Craven Cottage and featuring in Fulham's last few games of the season.
"I'm very, very happy to have signed a contract extension with the Club," Kacaniklic said.
"It's the perfect start for me ahead of the new season.
"I came back from my loan period at Watford last season and got some game time in the First Team and hopefully I'll be pushing for a place in the starting eleven this coming season.
"When I was at Watford I got the chance to show that I can play at that level and then the manager gave me a chance. When you have a Manager that believes in you it makes it much easier.
"He has told me to keep working hard and it's great as a young player to work for a Manager like Martin Jol. He's always encouraging us and giving us the chance to show what we can do.
"I'm aiming to start a lot more games next season and I'm going to work really hard to achieve my goals."
