Weekend Division 1 Results and Stats

last updated Saturday 27th January 2001, 6:05 PM

Fulham Football Club are the top club in the Nationwide league.

What can one say. Birmingham were poor the Ref was reasonable and we were not very good. Not a good dish to put in front of Chairman Mo on his birthday.

Some players were below par and with our usual strikers suspended or injured the hoped for change up front did not happen. We had a 6'4" center forward and the number of crosses we got in to the area was in single figures.

We are still 7 points clear with a game in hand. Repeat, we are still 7 points clear with a game in hand. Repeat, we are still 7 points clear with a game in hand. Phew thats better.

Say ... We are top of Division One after just over half of the campaign, have lost only two game, have the best goal difference in Western European football and have the leading scorer of the Premier and Nationwide leagues.
