Fulham Football Club are the best squad in the Nationwide league.

Fulham played the last home game of this season today and drew 1-1 with Wimbledon. Unfortunately on the day both teams lost, Wimbledon lost the chance to get into the playoffs and the Mighty Whites lost the opportunity to achieve 106 points for the season and beat Sunderland's record of 105 points.

Fulham however had already been crowned Champions of Nationwide Division One so the game today was just a diversion prior to the official presention of the Chairman, Team, Staff and Manager so that they could be given their medals and the First division Trophy.

The Fulhamweb prediction for the Wimbledon game was another 2-1 to the Cottagers with a crowd of 18100 at the end it was a 1-1 draw in front of 18576. Close but not close enough.

Blackburn retained their 4 point advantage over Bolton on Sunday even though they had an early fright when Portsmouth took the lead. If Blackburn win their next game, away at Preston, the second automatic promotion place is theirs. All Bolton can do is to win their last two games and hope that Blackburn lose both of theirs because if Blackburn win either of their last two games they are up..
