Tranmere Rovers manager Dave Watson will make
Wayne Collins his first signing.
Since arriving at Prenton Park from Everton, Watson has been on the look
out for new players, as the Birkenhead-based side consider life in Nationwide
Division Two after suffering relegation this term.
He is almost certain to capture Fulham midfielder Collins who has been at
Craven Cottage for four years despite the rumoured interest of Crewe.
The 32-year-old previously played for Sheffield Wednesday and Crewe but
he has found first team opportunities limited with the first division champions,
since the arrival of manager Jean Tigana.
