Valencia are set to launch fresh campaign to recoup the money they believed is owed for John Carew's collapsed transfer to Fulham.

The La Liga champs have approached the Spanish FA (RFEF) to take their case to FIFA.

Valencia say they are owed £8.75 million from Fulham for Carew's transfer. The Norwegian was to join the London club in January, only for Fulham to pull out because of the player's failure to pass a club medical.

However, Carew underwent another medical in Paris in which was given a clean bill of health.

Valencia have the medical documents and also contracts signed by Fulham and insist that the deal is carried out before the transfer window closes in August.
