TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
15th in Premiership with 3 point
Position achievable after MatchDay 5:
Highest 7th - Lowest 20th
- TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR and improving Fulham engage in their first London derby of the season. The home side are buoyed by a 0-1 Uefa Cup win in Slavia Prague on Thursday.
- Martin Jol selects a Spurs side for the 80th time, aiming to see the domestic form of his side pick up. One win and three defeats from their first four outings is the worst start Tottenham have made to a Premiership season in 11 years.
- Each of the last four Premiership fixtures between Spurs and Fulham have been won by the side playing at home, who have also kept a clean sheet.
- One of three clubs to have lost three of their first four Premiership matches. Charlton and Watford are the others.
- One of four clubs to have failed to score in three of their first four top flight outings. Blackburn, Manchester City and Sheffield United are the others.
- Vying for a first victory in four London Premiership derbies.
- Drawn one and lost two top League capital clashes, since beating Charlton (3-1 at home on 5 February).
- Completed 19 Premiership encounters since recording a goalless draw (home to Aston Villa on 21 January).
- Tottenham's lowest points tally after the first five matches of a Premiership season over the last 13 seasons was four in 2003-04. The White Hart Lane club only managed three points after five in the inaurgural season of this League in 1992-93.
- Must visit Liverpool next Saturday lunchtime.
- Jermaine JENAS is Tottenham's top scorer with two goals.
- If named in the 11, JENAS will be making his 150th career League start (Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Tottenham).

FULHAM
7th in Premiership with 7 point
Position achievable after MatchDay 5:
Highest 4th - Lowest 12th
- FULHAM run out at White Hart Lane with confidence high after last Saturday's victory at Newcastle - although Jimmy Bullard's sickening injury was a major blow. Two goals in the last eight minutes at St James' Park meant that last season's worst top flight travellers had achieved in one month, what they took eight months to accomplish last term - a victory on the road.
- Now Chris Coleman's charges are targeting back-to-back away victories for the first time since winning at Blackburn and Manchester United on 28 September and 25 October 2003 respectively.
- The Cottagers' only Premiership victory at White Hart Lane was 0-3 on 30 August 2003 when Barry Hayles scored twice and Luis Boa Morte got the other.
-
Victory would equal Fulham's best Premiership start of 10 points after the first five matches in 2002-03.
- Aiming to complete three League victories on the spin for the first time since defeating Charlton (h), Wigan (h) and Manchester City (a) between 15 and 29 April.
- Lost six of 10 London Premiership derbies last season, but won their most recent derby clash (2-1, home to Charlton on 15 April).
- Completed 16 top tier games since a victory by more than a single goal (6-1, home to West Brom on 11 February).
- Completed 10 top flight matches since failing to score (0-0 at Aston Villa on 25 March).
- Fired one blank in 14 Premiership matches.
- Six of the seven goals conceded this term have been shipped away from home.
- Four of the seven Premiership goals leaked have been conceded in the first quarter (22 minutes).
- If he participates, Michael BROWN will be playing against his former club.
- Wayne ROUTLEDGE is on loan from Tottenham and therefore ineligible to play.
- If he gets a run out, Brian McBRIDE will be making his 100th appearance in a Fulham shirt.
- If involved from the outset, Heidar HELGUSON will be making his 150th career League start (Watford and Fulham).
- Mark PEMBRIDGE needs one more appearance to total 400 in his League career.
- If selected in the 11, Zat KNIGHT will be making his 150th club career start.
