Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has denied making any enquiries over Jimmy Bullard.
The Fulham midfielder's future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks and there are reports he could leave Craven Cottage in the January transfer window.
Bullard, who has 18 months to run on his current contract, has been linked with a move to Spurs and Redknapp admits he does admire the 29-year-old.
Redknapp worked with Bullard during his time in charge of West Ham but he insists he has no plans to sign him in the New Year.
"There is no truth in it," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"I like Jimmy. I signed him from Gravesend and Northfleet for £20,000 when I was manager at West Ham so I know all about him.
"He has done fantastic and he is a great lad. He is a great character and personality and he has turned out to be a top player, but I have not made any enquiries for Jimmy.
"He is still under contract at Fulham."
