Swansea and Fulham go head to head on Saturday, but I'm struggling to come up with that many links between the two clubs, with only a few players that immediately spring to mind.

Of the current squads, Wayne Routledge made 24 appearances for Fulham in the PL (13 starts) without finding the net and seems to be continuing the trend at Swansea where he has made 12 appearances without a goal.

His best moment at Fulham came when he scored a last minute winner against Leicester in a thrilling FA Cup replay at the Cottage.

Further back in time, Chris Coleman started his career with his home town club and made 160 appearances for the Swans before moving to Palace. Coleman was an immense presence for Fulham before his career was cruelly cut short by a serious car crash.

As a manager, Coleman steered Fulham through a difficult period in the clubs history as we decamped to Loftus Road and began to live within our means.

Nick Cusack was an integral part of Fulham's promotion winning team of 1997 and had enough about him to make the step up but as the Al Fayed revolution gathered pace, Cusack found himself surplus to requirements and moved onto Swansea.

Martin Thomas was another player of that era that made the move from the Cottage to Wales and I think Aiden Newhouse was another that played for both clubs.

I have probably missed out some obvious connections, so if you know any more, please help me out with a comment.
