Denmark international midfielder Claus Jensen will miss out for Fulham after suffering a strained calf in training.

But French midfielder Steed Malbranque is included in the squad for the first time this season after recovering from a groin injury during pre-season training.

Malbranque has not had the benefit of a reserve team run out but has trained so well this week that manager Chris Coleman decided to bring him straight back into the squad, although he will start on the substitutes' bench.

Patrick Vieira is ready to return to Arsenal's team for the trip to Fulham after recovering from a thigh injury.

Vieira was involved in France's midweek World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands, being sent off after 53 minutes.

While manager Arsene Wenger will make a final reassessment of Vieira's fitness after international duty, he revealed the midfielder had a "good chance of playing" at Craven Cottage.

Teenager Cesc Fabregas is set to be rested, while Sol Campbell is estimated to be a fortnight away from a first-team return after an Achilles injury and Jeremie Aliadiere is a long-term absentee.
