The Cottagers are back in action when they take on Tampa Bay Mutiny in the second
and final game of their America tour, on Wednesday night.
The team arrived in Tampa on Tuesday morning following a four-hour drive from
Miami.
They then trained at 6pm in the evening, taking advantage of the cooler conditions,
before resting this morning ready for the big match which kicks-off at 11.45pm
GMT.
Afterwards the team will spend one more night in their plush hotel before flying
back to England on Thursday afternoon.
Tampa, like Miami will not be hosting the match in their regular home of the Raymond
James Stadium, choosing instead to play in the University of Tampa venue.
However, this is a venue that has brought them luck in the past, holding a full-strength
Celtic to a 2-2 draw earlier in the year.
In the Mutiny team is playmaker Carlos Valderamma, last season's Major League
Soccer top scorer Mamadou Diallo, and young forward Ali Curtis.
Their attacking flair has been handicapped by a defensive injury crisis, that
was epitomised by their match with Los Angeles this time last week, in which their
drew 4-4.
