Steve Marlet gets request
to join French National squad.

Fulham French International striker Steve Marlet has received a request to join the National squad for their friendly against Russia on Wednesday.
Steve played for France in the 5-0 slaughter of Scotland last month when he scored the 5th goal and it looked as if he was being rested until France coach Roger Lemerre got on the telephone.
The 28-year-old Cottagers striker has scored twice in seven appearances for Les Bleus and has
been called up as cover for David Trezeguet, who is suffering from a thigh
injury.
