Fulham fitness coach Roger Propos holds the key to Steve Marlet's recovery from afractured knee.
The 27-year-old former Lyon forward, Fulham's £11.5million record buy, sustained what was believed to be a minor problem in the 2-1 victory against Southampton nine days ago.
But the true extent of the injury was only revealed on the eve of Saturday's 2-0 London derby success at West Ham.
Fulham assistant manager Christian Damiano explained: "He's (Marlet) got a bad injury from a bad kick just below the knee against Southampton and will be out for two months."
Cottagers spokeswoman Sarah Brookes said: "It's a compression fracture of his right knee. He'll be coming to the training ground every day for treatment to work with Roger, who will aid his recovery."
