Last season's Nationwide Division One champions have struggled for points in their first season back in the top-flight
for 33 years and have already been defeated by both Manchester United and Arsenal.

Jean Tigana's side were unfortunate in their 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford, and were convincingly beaten by the Gunners 3-1 at Craven Cottage at the weekend.

But the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international told the club's official website: "The football we play is suited to this level.

"I think you can say that about most of the players at this club. "It's pretty much what I expected. You're up against quality players so you make a mistake and you get punished.

"I think we are playing well, we're just trying to keep playing the way we did last year and not change anything and I think we are doing that. We're creating plenty of chances."
