Former Fulham captain Simon Morgan will seal
a move to Brighton on a Bosman free ruling.
The 34-year-old has agreed personal terms and will complete his move subject
to a medical.
Morgan, who can play centre-half or midfield, led Fulham to promotion to
Division Two five years ago.
He will sign a one-year deal after choosing the south coast club ahead of
their Second Division rivals QPR and Notts County.
Albion boss Micky Adams said: "Simon was in talks with other clubs
but had his heart set on us. He is going to have to take a substantial cut
in wages."
Morgan made a successful comeback late last season after seven months out
with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
