Sheffield United have called off the Nationwide First Division clash with Fulham on Tuesday night.
After a midday pitch inspection of the Bramall Lane pitch, officials deemed the surface unplayable due to a waterlogged surface.
Earlier in the day, the Blades were confident that the fixture would take place but a morning downpour put pay to any hopes the club had of honouring the game.
Ironically, this is the second time the fixture has been postponed. Originally, the game was scheduled for September but was put back due to international call-ups on both sides.
