AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown thanked Dons legend Lawrie Sanchez after the
Fulham manager came to his rescue this week.
Goalkeeper Andy Little was ruled out for up to eight weeks after breaking two fingers
in Saturday's 1-0 win over AFC Hornchurch.
Potential disaster for Brown was averted by Sanchez, the hero of Dons' 1988 FA Cup
final victory, after he allowed highly rated 19-year-old keeper Corrin Brooks-Meade
to switch to Kingsmeadow on a month-long loan.
And the Dons chief has expressed his gratitude for getting access to the Craven Cottage starlets at short notice.
He said: "Fulham have been great. I have been on the phone to Lawrie and he has
done everything he can to help us.
Unfortunately in Brooks-Meade's first outing he was forced off after 65 minutes
with a medial ligament injury after a needless challenge by Scott Kinch of Tonbridge
Angels.
Now the youngster won't be playing for anyone for a while.
