Fulham's Louis Saha has backed his new
£11.5million strike partner Steve Marlet to take the Premiership
by storm.
The 27-year-old club-record signing is battling to prove his fitness to
boss Jean Tigana in time for Saturday's crunch London derby with Arsenal
at Craven Cottage.

Ex-Lyon attacker Marlet was hit by a knee
injury while with the French national team in Chile the weekend before
last and that scuppered his hopes of making his Cottagers debut in Sunday's
draw at Charlton.
Now he could make his Fulham bow against Arsene Wenger's side, and Saha
reckons he will keep the Gunners backline fully occupied.
"He's the kind of player with pace and a quick mind, and he will
usually have a chance of scoring," Saha said. "He's a world-class
player and will help us to play. He's a nice guy.
"I think Steve will boost everyone in the team. It will be a big,
big signing for the team and hopefully we will create more chances."
Tigana's swoop for Marlet has sparked a four-way battle for the two forward
positions, between the new man, Saha, Luis Boa Morte and Barry Hayles.
Saha believes the battle for places in the starting XI will do the side
the world of good. He said: "He (Marlet) will help us to improve
- and this type of thing can push the team forwards."
