Louis Saha is due a £500,000 loyalty bonus from Fulham despite criticising his former club, falling outwith the chairman and threatening to leave for nothing when his contract expired.
Manchester United's new No.9 is owed the kiss-off because although he admitted he wanted the move to Old Trafford he did not put in a transfer request.
That means although his former club chose to accept United's £12 million offer for him, Saha did not give up his rights to the fee.
The player waged a war of words with the club, slamming them for rejecting offers of £5m and £8m earlier this month.
After finally completing his move to Old Trafford yesterday, Saha admitted he had been disloyal to the club by under-performing in a recent game. He said: ''Although some people may not like me for it I had to stand up for what I believed in.''
