Former Fulham winger Wayne Routledge from Premier League side Aston Villa and former Fulham striker Heidar Helguson from Bolton have signed for QPR for undisclosed fees.

Routledge, who has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal, rejected a permanent move to Championship rivals Cardiff where he had enjoyed a successful loan spell.

The 23-year-old, who has been capped at England Under-21 level, has played for Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Portsmouth and Fulham.

The 31-year-old Helguson has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal which will keep him at Loftus Road until the end of June 2011.

The Iceland international joined Rangers on loan in November and has since gone on to make seven appearances for the Championship side, scoring three goals.
