Fulham boss Chris Coleman slammed his players for living in a "comfort zone" as their slide out of European contention continued.
And Coleman refused to blame the recent exit of Louis Saha for his side's recent plight despite their glaring inefficiencies in front of goal.
Coleman said: "Wolves were more hungry today and we were in that comfort zone which is disappointing.
"We lost Louis and he is a quality player but he has gone.
"There is no excuse and the most disappointing thing to me really is how we are losing.
"The performance today was lacklustre. We started the season fighting and playing with a fear of losing and proving people wrong.
"Our season could soon fizzle out if we don't start playing with that fear again. Maybe one or two of my players think it's the end of the season and they are wrong."

Wolves boss Dave Jones admitted his side almost threw away their Premiership lifeline at Molineux against Fulham.
His side were coasting through goals from Paul Ince and Carl Cort before Steed Malbranque's strike eight minutes from time set up a grandstand finish.
Jones criticised his players for not opting to sit back on their advantage and instead gift the visitors the chance of a comeback.
Jones said: "For 80 minutes we were in control and maybe we've just forgotten how to bore the pants off people.
"We were trying to chase the game to get the third goal and there was no need to do that.
"Fulham were just sending men forward to try to catch us and that made life difficult for us for the last few minutes."
