Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock has
confirmed an interest in Fulham striker Paul Peschisolido.
But he admits that the club could not afford a reported £1million
valuation.
The Canadian enjoyed a brief but successful loan spell at Bramall Lane
last season and has now found himself surplus to requirements with the
Cottagers.
"We couldn't afford anything like the figures that Fulham are said
to have quoted, but personally I don't think someone like Jean Tigana
would talk about figures like that," Warnock said.
"Paul has got another year left on his contract, so the longer that
goes on the smaller the fee Fulham can ask," he told the club's official
website.
