Peschisolido happy to go permanent at Carrow Road |
|
Paul Peschisolido, on loan at Norwich,
says he would consider a permanent move to Carrow Road in the summer if
all parties are happy.
Canaries boss Nigel Worthington said last week when he signed the Canadian
international from Fulham that the move was simply a loan at this point,
and a permanent transfer hadn't been considered.
Peschisolido, though, says that he doesn't figure in Jean Tigana's plans
and so he would be interested in getting away to a new club.
Asked if he would consider joining Norwich he said: "Yeah, but I just
want to get back playing again. That's pretty much it for now. It's just
a month's loan though, and that's it as far as I'm aware."
He trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Monday and says
he is very impressed with the facilities at the Colney training ground.
Peschisolido said: "It's absolutely fantastic. I don't think I've seen
anything quite like it. Everybody talks about Fulham and the money they
have got but they don't have facilities as nice as here."
The player believes that Fulham will want a fee for his services, but
presumably it wouldn't be too large for a player who is 29 now, and would
be affordable for The Canaries.
