Paul Peschisolido has a hamstring injury

Sheffield United have suffered a blow to their promotion aspirations with Paul Peschisolido being ruled out for three matches.

Striker Peschisolido has a hamstring injury and came off in the Blades' 1-0 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Canadian international is now set to miss vital matches against QPR, Crewe and Nottingham Forest as the Bramall Lane club challenge for a play-off place.

Peschisolido, on loan from Fulham, will also be nearing the end of his two-month loan spell at the club, but that is expected to be extended.

"He's got a hamstring strain and he'll be out for a couple of weeks," confirmed Blades boss Neil Warnock.

"He's had ice on it and he'll see the doctor and tell me how he feels."
