Peschi burns his bridges

Paul Peschisolido scored on his Queens Park Rangers debut and then spoke of the 'humiliation' he has suffered at the hands of Fulham coach Jean Tigana.

The Canadian striker, ostracised by Tigana, was only 10 minutes into his month loan spell at QPR when he vented his frustration on Portsmouth with a right-foot shot to open the scoring in the 1-1 draw at Loftus Road.

Peschisolido said: 'I don't think I can go back to Fulham because I don't see a future there and I don't know why because Tigana didn't speak to me. In fact he doesn't speak to anybody at all.

'I can understand what he says because I can speak French but I have not told him that. I just got my head down and trained hoping that something else would come along.

'The manager has never seen me play and what is frustrating is that I was never given a chance. It is very humiliating when the first team are kicking off on a Saturday afternoon and I am training with the kids.

'A month is long enough to prove myself here at QPR and I want to stay.'
