Fulham are short of strikers for the busy Christmas and New Year programme, with Luis Boa Morte the latest forward to join the injury list.

The Portuguese international is out for a fortnight with a thigh strain and joins Louis Saha (hamstring), Facundo Sava (calf) and Barry Hayles (neck) on the sidelines.

But Steve Marlet is back after a three-game ban and is likely to play as a lone striker with Steed Malbranque just behind him.

Midfielder Lee Clark, who only returned from a long-term Achilles problem in October, faces another lengthy lay-off after tearing his calf.

And Junichi Inamoto is out for a month with medial ligament damage to his right ankle, so manager Jean Tigana has fewer options for his five-man midfield.
