Moller in London at weekend

last updated Friday 19th January 2001, 4:35 PM
Peter Moller has confirmed that he is to fly to England this weekend to negotiate personal terms with Fulham, after the Londoners agreed a deal with his club Real Oviedo.

Fulham made a move for the Danish international and now they look all but set to seal his signature.

"The Spanish agent who has created the deal has notified me that Fulham and Oviedo have reached an agreement for the circumstances around a quick move," said Moller. "So, I expect to fly to London this weekend to discuss my personal terms"

"Jean Tigana has expressed to the Spanish agent that he remembers me from the World Cup in France 1998, and is not worried about my shape, even though I have not played regularly for the Oviedo side in the Primera Liga this season."

The two clubs have agreed a loan deal until the end of the season and then Fulham have first refusal on a £1 million deal.

The 26-year-old ace also stated that he is looking forward to moving to London, and said: "London would really be the place for my wife Lotte and me. It would simply be great if this succeeds."

Moller will provide competition for current forwards Louis Saha, Barry Hayles and Luis Boa Morte.
