Preston came and followed the Wolves blueprint but at least they weren't as violent as Wolves and showed a more positive approach. It was quite interesting to see as many Preston players in our half as there were Fulham players for each goal kick etc.. They camped on the toes of our players and prevented us building up any significant attacks in the first half. In the second half the Mighty Whites came out and played much better but were not able to produce killer chances around the goal. It was disappointing that we lost but at least the lads did not roll over.

Future games will be an interesting challenge as presumably other teams will try the same tactics and without a change in our tactics, a controlled use of the long ball to bypass the opposition players camping in our half, or a faster pace to our passing we may see many more scimitar results
