Midweek fixtures & stats - Fulham v Wolves

last updated Tuesday 24th April 2001, 10:20 PM

Fulham Football Club are the best squad in the Nationwide league.

An enjoyable evening at Craven Cottage with goals, a win, quality football, a cameo performance by Simon Morgan and no rain. Wolves tried to contain Fulham and although they played less physically than in October Wolves had to resort to foul play in their penalty area and fortunately the referee had been told to give us an easy run. So Karl Hienz got two penalties from fouls that Ref's have ignored all season long

The Fulhamweb prediction for the Wolves game is another 2-1 to the Cottagers with a crowd of 16500.

Second best Blackburn continued their efforts to conquer the second place in the division with a 4-1 win away at Grimsby

Say ... We are champions of Division One have only 2 games to go, have lost only four games all season, have the best goal difference with the leading goal scorer in the Premier and Nationwide leagues and will be playing in the Premiership next season. Ho, ho, ho, he, he, he..............
