Fulham Football Club are the
top club in the Nationwide league.
This week sees a busy midweek
Division One programme with 10 games taking place over Tuesday and Wednesday
evenings. Fulham, Bolton and Blackburn do not play until the weekend.
So the fun and games must be supplied by three of the other promotion contenders
who play on Tuesday, all away from home, Birmingham at Crystal Palace, Sheffield
United, who took Watford's place last weekend, at Crewe and West Brom at Norwich.
0-0 up to the end of half time Birmingham
benefited from an early second half own goal conceded by Upson and went on to
win the game 1-2. Sheffield United were unable to maintain their rush to the
top and lost 1-0 away at Crewe while West Brom pulled off the surprise of the
evening with a well earned 1-0 victory away at Norwich.
Wednesday saw Nottingham Forest get closer to the playoffs and Watford scuff
a chance to get back into the playoff zone
Fulham's next game is at the Cottage next Saturday when we play local rivals
QPR.
Say ... We are top of Division One after two thirds of the campaign, have
lost only four games, have the best goal difference and the leading scorer in
the Premier and Nationwide leagues.
